Plot Appearance

These options control the overall size and shape of the plot. Open Settings on the plot toolbar to find them.

Dimensions

Set the plot's Width and Height in pixels, from 200 to 1200 (in steps of 50). This is the size of the exported image as well as the on-screen plot, so pick the dimensions you need for your download.

Radii

The wind rose is drawn in a ring between two radii, given as a fraction of the plot's half-size:

Inner is the empty hole in the middle, from 0 to 0.80. Set it to 0 for a filled center (no hole).
Outer is how far the wedges extend, from 0.30 to 1.00. Lower it to leave more room around the plot for direction labels.

Background

Toggle Transparent to hide the white plot background. This is handy when you want to place the exported PNG or SVG on a colored or patterned surface. With it off, the plot has a solid white background.
